Joanna Delfunt

Initially drawn to immigration law to continue her fight against human trafficking, Joanna found her calling in the field as a whole. Joanna is a Christian and much of her love for her clients comes from the truth she has found in God's Word — that each person is loved and seen by the Lord. She is a passionate advocate for her clients, and the hope and peace she has in Jesus Christ is something she tries to bring to each client she serves.

How a consultation works

  1. You start with the confidential intake. The intake asks the screening questions important for the consultation. If there is nothing we can do or no value we can add, we will let you know in advance or, if possible, refer you to another lawyer.
  2. We read it, and we reply. Within one business day you hear whether this is a matter we can take on, and if not, where to go instead.
  3. You book your consultation. The consult can be in person or by video or phone. Consultations generally last an hour and require payment of the consult fee.
  4. You leave with a plan. What you qualify for, what it will need from you, and the honest timeline immigration agencies control.

Common questions

Is the consultation free?

No. Immigration consultations are paid. They typically last an hour. Criminal and personal injury consults are free.

Yes. Immigration is federal law, so we represent clients in every state and in immigration courts across the country. Many clients never visit the Cumming office.
